Coastal Transport Ltd. Crossing info for teams booking tickets.

Price

12.00 per adult 13 years of age and up

5.95 children between 5-12

35.80 per vehicle

or 9.00 per meter for a bus

All adults, and children and UP to 6 vehicles or a Bus gets a 50% discount on these prices if it is booked as a team and paid for by one person.

Crossing Times Departing Blacks are 9:30, 1:30, 5:30 and 9:00pm.

Departing Grand Manan crossing times are 7:30, 11:30, 3:30 and 7:15 pm.

In order for reservations to be held all vehicles must check in 45 minutes prior to loading time. Example if you are leaving Blacks Harbor at 9:30 am you must check in no later then 8:45 to have a reservation held.

Reservations are available up to 90 days in advance of sailing,  if you book 3-4 days prior to coming to Grand Manan and departing Grand Manan you shouldn't have any problem getting the crossing you are looking for, however the earlier the better for reservations, and we at Coastal Transport strongly recommend reservations.

Tickets are purchased leaving Grand Manan, Coming to Grand Manan from Blacks Harbor no fare is collected. As a rule all tickets are paid at the time of booking and that is how reservations are held, however we have found with traveling teams that the numbers of people and vehicles change so often that if you would like to collect the money and pay directly at the time of leaving Grand Manan with the correct number of adults, children and vehicles traveling that is acceptable as well.
